Jane K. Callahan is an end-of-life doula and author who lives in Durham, NC. For eight years, Jane has brought the positive death movement to terminally ill patients in her community through hospice volunteering and her private practice, Peaceful Crossings Durham. She is associated with INELDA, UVM, NEDA, and the National Funeral Consumers Alliance.
She has been an end-of-life doula, serving through hospices and her practice, since training with INELDA in 2018. She holds a certificate from UVM and holds a NEDA proficiency badge. She serves on the board of directors for the Funeral Consumers Alliance-NC. Her book, "A Death Doula's Guide to a Meaningful End," will be published in April 2026.
