Conversations About Death - October - In-Person

Conversations About Death is a unique social gathering that offers an open, supportive environment for individuals to engage in meaningful discussions about death, dying, and grieving. Each meeting will explore a topic, giving everyone a great opportunity to share thoughts, feelings, experiences, and questions, and to learn from others.

October’s topic: The Death System. We will explore the many people, places, objects, and cultural practices that shape our experiences of dying, death, and grief. From clinicians and caregivers to artists, doulas, policymakers, volunteers, and those whose work is often unseen, the death system influences the care we receive and the choices available to us.

Anyone who works in end‑of‑life care—or is simply curious about the wide range of professions within the death‑care field—is warmly encouraged to join us. Whether you come to listen, learn, or share your own experiences, you are welcome.
