Grief in Pregnancy Loss: Miscarriage & Early Loss

In this 1.5-hour class, we will take a thoughtful and grounded look at the experience of early pregnancy loss, including miscarriage, infertility, and termination for medical reasons. Together, we will examine how these losses affect parents, partners, siblings, and extended family members, noting both common themes and the deeply individualized nature of grief in this population. We will also explore practical and compassionate ways to support those who are grieving—whether through presence, communication, ritual, or community resources. By the end of the session, participants will have a clearer understanding of the complexities of early pregnancy loss and greater confidence in offering informed, sensitive support to those navigating these profound experiences.
